New Board Member Mark Giugni (left) is welcomed by Board Chairman Jim Frische (right)
At the January 3rd Board meeting, the Cordelia Fire Protection District (CFPD) Board unanimously voted to have Mark Giugni join the Board as its fifth member and to fill the vacancy created when Director Senior departed in late 2022.
Mark lives in Green Valley and has demonstrated great interest in, and support for, the CFPD, most notably by attending almost every Board meeting as a public observer for the last several years. Mark also serves as a board member with the Green Valley Landowners Association, is a member of the Green Valley Fire Safe Council, and consistently contributes to activities in the area. His enthusiasm for service is most welcome and we look forward to Mark being a valuable contributor to the CFPD Board as it navigates the many changes expected in 2023.
